ATTACHMENT B
MENU OPTION ACTIVITIES:
1. KLAK/KMKT/KMAD participated in an internship program with several local Colleges.
In the fall of 2007, contact was made via telephone and email, with Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Grayson County College, Austin College and Texas A&M University at Commerce, TX, Collin County Community College expressing Next Media’s desire to utilize interns from the schools, should the need present itself.
A. Paul Mustill participated in the 2007 internship program and was hired as a part-time board operator after completing the intern program.
B. Kyle Wiser, a communications student from SOSU was hired as “part-time” help around the stations, focusing specifically on all things programming. Kyle currently continues his working relationship with the Texoma stations.
2. KLAK/KMKT/KMAD participated in the Internships and Job Fair at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, on February 27, 2007. Jason Taylor (Operations Manager), Jennifer Isbell (Promotions Manager) and Johnny Baublis (Program Director) represented the stations at the event.
3. KLAK/KMKT/KMAD participated in the Texoma Expo on February 16, 2007. Jason Taylor (Operations Manager) and David MacMullen (Director of Sales) represented the stations at the event.
4. KLAK/KMKT/KMAD participated in the Workforce Texoma Career Day March 23, 2007. Jason Taylor (Operations Manager) and David MacMullen (Director of Sales) represented the stations.
5. KLAK/KMKT/KMAD participated in the Workforce Texoma Job Expo on October 25, 2007. Jason Taylor (Operations Manager) and David MacMullen (Director of Sales) represented the stations. |
